Hannover. There are now clear signs that the world economy is slowly regaining momentum. HANNOVER MESSE 2010 will play a major role in boosting business activity. This applies above all to the industrial automation sector. To stay ahead in the current economic climate companies depend crucially on solutions that conform to the motto "HANNOVER MESSE 2010: Efficiency - Innovation - Sustainability."
More than 75 percent of the visitors want to invest
A visitor survey carried out at HANNOVER MESSE 2009 revealed that over 75 percent of the attendees want to invest in new and improved technology: "We offer a marketplace for the entire spectrum of automation technology - ranging from mechanical and plant engineering to process automation and automation systems for industrial buildings," explains Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President at Deutsche Messe AG with special responsibility for HANNOVER MESSE. He refers explicitly to the sustained development of this flagship fair in response to the growing demands of exhibitors and visitors: "For HANNOVER MESSE 2010 we have consciously created new thematic highlights."
Industrial Embedded: new showcase for hardware and software suppliers at HANNOVER MESSE
One of these highlights is "Industrial Embedded." Located at the heart of the automation technology market in Hall 9, the spotlight here will be on the visualization of workflows and the growing integration of machines and sensors. The emphasis will be on complete solutions as opposed to individual products. Microcontrollers are playing an increasingly important role in this context. They react to a wide range of environmental influences and open up new perspectives for industrial manufacturers as well as software companies. Microcontrollers require very little space and open up new possibilities for the decentralized management of complex plant and machinery.
