Beijing, September 7, 2010 ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, announced it has been given two awards by the China Instrumentation & Control Society (CIS): a Science and Technology Excellent Product Award goes to its flagship automation platform IndustrialIT Extended Automation System 800xA and a Science and Technology Achievement Award to an ABB engineered automation project using ABB control system . They were announced at the 21th International Conference and Fair for Measurement Instrumentation and Automation (MICONEX), organized by CIS. This is the third consecutive time that ABB has won the awards from CIS.
Mark Reid, head of Open Control System and Measurement Products in ABB Process Automation Division in China, said during the award ceremony on Sept. 6, We appreciate receiving this recognition from the authority. It reinforces the value ABB provides to our customers with leading technologies and outstanding engineering expertise in automation.
