HONG KONG (October 12, 2010) Dow Formulated Systems, a global business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (Dow), announces the launch of its expanded range of VORATRON Electrical Encapsulation Systems, which will be officially unveiled at the EP China 2010 Conference and Exhibition in Beijing next week. The expanded VORATRON family uses the best applicable chemistry including epoxy, polyurethane and other innovative solutions to meet a wide voltage range that satisfies customer requirements.
VORATRON Systems are very well suited for power transmission and distribution equipment and demonstrates excellent thermo-mechanical performance and electrical insulation. These systems protect and insulate electrical devices, circuitry, transformers, switchgears sensors, capacitors, relays, coils, insulators and components. Dow Research and Development, Technical Service and Development, and Technical Sales Representatives work closely at all stages, from initial design of the systems to fine-tuning and tailoring systems to help address specific customer requirements.
