Panasonic Corporation, an electronics technology company based in Osaka, Japan, announced that its EverLEDs LED light bulbs standard E26 base and compact E17 base received the gold award, top award at the International Design Excellence Awards 2010 IDEA 2010 IDEA 2010 was sponsored by the Industrial Designers Society of America IDSA
The winning EverLEDs LED light bulbs feature a cylinder-shaped compact design. According to Panasonic, the design features an LED package and the aluminum chassis that attached closely for improved luminance efficiency. The company also says that its distinctive, flat surface design and shape keeps it free from dust.
