Equipment maker All Ring Tech has estimated that revenues for June 2010 hit a record for the second consecutive month, amid strong orders particularly from LED customers.

All Ring began to supply equipment for LED backend production in the second half of 2009. The company expects sales from the segment to account for a higher proportion of its total sales in 2010, buoyed by orders from Everlight Electronics and other Taiwan LED makers.

All Ring said LED-equipment segment are expected to account for 10-15% of the company's total revenues in 2010, compared to about 5% during the first half of the year.

Products for the production of passive components accounted for about 50% of All Ring's sales in the first half of the year, the equipment supplier estimated. Products for IC packaging and LCD panel production contributed 30% and 15%, respectively, during the same period.

All Ring was quoted in previous reports saying it has secured new orders for passive component manufacturing equipment from a Japan-based vendor. The company is already a major equipment supplier for Taiwan's Yageo, Walsin Technology Corporation WTC and Darfon Electronics.

All Ring revealed that it has also enjoyed rising orders from IC backend houses Advanced Semiconductor Engineering ASE and Silicon Precision Industries SPIL as both look to increase capacity.

All Ring generated revenues of NT$123 million US$3.83 million in May, a monthly high. Revenues through the month totaled NT$373 million, a 157% jump on year.
