Clear-Lite Holdings, Inc., an eco-friendly lighting ArmorLite CFL, announced that it is introducing the first in a series of LED Reflector bulbs at more affordable pricing.
Experts seem to agree that the future in lighting is LED. The challenge has been to enhance current performance, while at the same time helping make them more affordable, said Thomas Irvine, President and CEO of ClearLite. With our new line of LED bulbs, we did exactly that.
ClearLite's first line offering of LED's for home and office use: a 7w and 9w A Shape, a 4w Candle Shape, 7w PAR20, 11w PAR30, 17w PAR38, 6w, 8w, 10w Globe Shape and an 18w LED T8 replacement. In addition to the LED commercial street lights announced last month, ClearLite will be offering an assortment in both dimmable and non-dimmable.
In LED Magazine's February 2010 issue, Bob Steele, Director of Optoelectronics at Strategies Unlimited, predicts a 53 percent surge in the LED market for 2010 to a total of $8.2 billion, and, through 2014, he predicts a 30.6 percent Compound Annual Growth Rate CAGR to $20.2 billion. The forecast focuses on the market for packaged LEDs and Steele projects a 32 percent uptick in the overall LED lighting segment for 2010.
We are thrilled to expand our line of earth-friendly, energy-saving lighting products to include what will be a wide range of LED bulbs for both residential and commercial applications, Irvine added. ClearLite will be well positioned to take its fair share of the market.
