Sino-American Silicon Products SAS again hit a monthly revenue record in July 2010 at NT$1.794 billion US$56.451 million up from NT$1.63 billion in June, on full capacity utilization for its three main businesses, solar-grade wafers, semiconductor wafers and LED sapphire substrates, according to the company.
Consolidated revenues for the month are expected to set new records with strong performance from subsidiaries including US-based Globitech. With bullish order visibility for the rest of 2010 and projected strong growth for the solar and LED markets, SAS has plans to expand capacity in the second half of 2010.
According to SAS, its A+ solar wafers currently provide industry-leading efficiency, and will introduce its next generation of wafers in the second half.
