Of late days, the new-type rural endowment insurance system has been kicked off in Hotan Prefecture,Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture and Kashgar Prefecture. The system will benefit over 3.58 million local people. 475,000 people aged over 60 can get the pension. The new-type rural endowment insurance system has covered all the farmers and herdsmen in the 3 prefectures, meeting the target 10 years ahead of the national schedule.
