In 2010, the city museum started opening to the public for free, with even more pieces to display. 703,000 people visited the museum in 2010, increasing by 12.5% compared to last year. As an outstanding museum in Guangxi, LiuzhouMuseum held the provincial museum seminar in 2010. It also participated in national and international conferences, as well organizing seminars in Liuzhou. Its outstanding performances in 2010 have won acknowledgments and praises from and outside the country.
