On Nov. 29, accompanied by Zhang Rui, Vice-mayor of Kunming City, Qiu He, Member of the Standing Yunnan provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Kunming Municipal Party Committee, met the delegation led by Professor Hui Ka Yan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Evergrande Group, in Kunming. In the meeting, Secretary Qiu He and Chairman Hui Ka Yan carried out deep exchange and discussion on the development advantages of Kunming and the investment and development of Evergrande in Kunming, etc.
Secretary Qiu He expressed welcome to the delegation led by Chairman Hui Ka Yan for their investment in Kunming and introduced in detail the important regional advantages and the strategic position of Kunming in the southwest of China. According to Secretary Qiu He, brand developers like Evergrande which focuses on the boutique residences and residences for people's livelihood are welcomed to invest in Kunming and Evergrande was highly praised for its contributions to the construction of Kunming.
He said, Kunming will support with all strength the development and construction of Evergrande. I hope that Evergrande could actively participate in the urban construction of Kunming, further strengthen cooperative development, and make the scale larger, so as to provide more high-quality residences of high cost- effectiveness to Kunming.
In the meeting, Chairman Hui Ka Yan also said that he thought highly of the development perspective of Kunming and was very confident for the investment in Kunming. At present, the Group has laid good development foundation in Kunming. In the future, Evergrande will strengthen the investment and speed up the development to build more international boutique projects such as tourism synthesis and landmark urban synthesis .
It is learned that Evergrande has established a branch company in Kunming and has successfully developed and constructed the first super-large international leisure-tourism real estate project in the Olympic Town in Taiping, Anning, which is an important step for strategically expanding in the southwest of the country.
