Chaoda Announces Scholarship for the Training of Agriculture Professionals

October 23, 2006 As demonstrated by the rapid growth of Chaoda Modern Agriculture, the Chinese agricultural segment shows tremendous potential for growth. Furthermore, the emphasis on agricultural development by the Central Government provides more evidence of the bright future ahead for the sector.

As the continued development of Chinese agriculture depends on the availability of qualified professionals in the varied fields of agriculture, science, economics and management, the Academy of Agricultural Sciences has the crucial responsibility for educating and training future leaders in the sector.

With the goal of continuing to support the educational development of the students of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University to become qualified agriculture and science professionals, Chaoda has designated funds for 'Academic Scholarship and Sponsorship'. The announcement was made during the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the University on October 22, 2006.

These funds are in addition to the 'Chaoda Research Sponsorship Award' and are specifically for those students of the Agriculture and Forestry University who have shown excellence in both character and academic performance and who demonstrate the need for financial assistance.

During the ceremony, Chaoda also presented the annual 'Chaoda Research Sponsorship Award'.
