2006 Specialist Think Tank Annual Meeting

The 2006 Specialist Think Tank Annual Meeting, led by academician Xie Lian Hui, was held on 3rd of February at Chaoda's headquarters. The discussion focused on two major areas, development of agricultural enterprises and western coast development, both of which received outstanding participation and a favorable response. According to Mr. Chen Jun Hua, Vice President of General Affairs, "In the economic development of the western coastal areas of Taiwan and Mainland China, Chaoda should take advantage of its leading position in the industry, enhance the existing agricultural relationships across the region, and promote industrialization of the western coast agricultural industry and the expansion of farming production".

Following the report from Mr. Chen, participants were briefed on the accomplishments of the Group in the previous year, and determined that Chaoda has successfully implemented its vision toward "building a new socialist countryside", as proposed in the 11th five-year plan. With clear direction, backed by a sound strategy and forward momentum, the participants concluded that the Company will be able to maintain healthy and steady growth in the long run.
