The theme of "Go to the Countryside" is sharing responsibilities and contributing to development in Haixi. The provincial government has organized 17 nationwide teams and 600 provincial teams involving 200,000 tertiary students to provide volunteer services, including agricultural education, technical consulting, environmental protection and medical and hygiene support to rural areas.
Mr. Zheng Zhen, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Committee of Communist Youth League, said that it was a breakthrough for the government to partner with Chaoda Group for the "Go to the Countryside" program. Taking advantage of Chaoda Group's nationwide network of agricultural production bases, the students can visit a wide range of rural regions to experience the modern agricultural value chain and will gain knowledge and understanding of new rural development in China via volunteer services.
