Chaoda Group's 2009 Work Meeting

On January 16, Chaoda Group held its 2009 Work Meeting, which serves as an opportunity to review the challenges and achievements of the previous year.

The meeting began with a congratulations letter from the Rural Work Office of the Fujian Provincial People's Government, praising Chaoda's contribution to infrastructure projects on the west coast of the Taiwan Strait in Fujian Province and wishing success for the company.

The meeting celebrated individuals and teams who had made exceptional contributions in 2008, serving as a model and inspiration for others.

Chen Junhua, vice president of general affairs, delivered a business review highlighting achievements of the Group in 2008. These included brand enhancement and resources integration. Mr. Chen described Chaoda's performance metaphorically using the lucky number eight as "Eight Effectiveness". Chaoda demonstrated its ability to perform its duties as Olympic supplier, enhance brand, achieve industry integration, develop corporate management, build team spirit, keep harmony, execute experiments and make a sincere contribution.

Looking ahead to 2009, Chaoda management has articulated a new set of guidelines. These are intended to build confidence and encourage managers and employees to seize opportunities while developing capacity and accelerating development.

Specifically, the new slogan calls on Chaoda managers and employees to "build confidence, seize opportunities, build team spirit and foster development". The emphasis in 2009 will be on working together to meet challenges with courage and creativity. The Group aims to make new breakthroughs in the year and at steady growth.
