The group's Youth League Committee paid two visits to a group of students funded by Chaoda under its 2009 Western Ocean - Full Dreams program in December, on December 5 and December 21. The students, at the Fuzhou campus of the Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University received gifts of books and encouragement from the Youth League members.
The students expressed gratitude for the books and encouragement. The Youth League members shared their values, of taking a positive attitude in life, studying hard, and participating in social activities. The students said that they had joined such public welfare organizations as the Red Cross and Youth Volunteers, and took every opportunity to do part-time volunteer work as tutors and administrative assistants.
Xiao Hongxin, the deputy secretary of the Youth League at the university, described Chaoda as an "old friend" of the school and suggested more such meetings with the Chaoda Youth League.
