On 25 June, the 4th session of the first enlarged group of directors conference of the Fuzhou Charity Federation was held at the Fuzhou People's Hall.
During the conference, the Fuzhou Charity Federation recognized those enterprises, institutions and charitable organizations which made philanthropic contributions in 2009. Chaoda Modern Agricultural Group was granted "The Third Place Philanthropic Award" by the Fuzhou Charity Federation due to its philanthropic contributions in 2009.
After the earthquake occurred in Yushu, Qinghai Province in April 2010, Chaoda donated RMB 1 million to the earthquake victims. Mr. Kwok Ho, Chairman of the Board, personally donated RMB1 million. There was a donation ceremony during the conference. Chaoda Group and Chairman Kwok were given donation certificates.
As always, Chaoda treats philanthropy as an important task for the Group. The Group pays attention to its social responsibilities and contributes to society. Recently, Chairman Kwok personally donated RMB1 million to the Fuzhou Charity Federation to help solve the problem of a lack of drinking water and also to build roads in the poor districts in Fujian.
