During the NPC &CPPCC sessions, we interviewed some of the representatives concerned about the consumer electronics industry and technology whose thoughts could lead to social focus in order to find a solution to promote the healthy development of the industry.
NPC member and TCL chairman Li Dongsheng thought the biggest obstacle to implementation of the 3C policy is "supervision division." He suggested that the government take "three steps" to break the current situation of double-headed regulation and also make the government-led technical standards, specifications and supporting procedures to protect the orderly and open market competition. CPPCC National Committee member and theoretical physicist of ChineseAcademy of Sciences Ouyang Zhongcan said the LCD industry is capital-intensive industry and asks for strong government support to develop the industry bigger while to avoid duplication of resources. To promote the country's industry, 1-2 strong leaders must be established and the country s focus should be on those innovation leading enterprises owned the intellectual properties. CPPCC member and chairman of Suning Appliance Zhang Jindong, recommended the integration led by the National Development and Reform Commission involving the development of logistics industry ministries and the establishment of the State Leading Group for the development of integrated logistics to deepen the development of new policies for the logistics of the industry.
