It s still too early to predict
Academician Ouyang Zhongcan said that LCD has been improved and provides better picture quality and features, which will prolong their survival time in the market. Even some technical experts said that if LCD technology broke its own the bottleneck, the image display quality may surpass the quality of OLED. In Ouyang Zhongcan s opinion, from the cathode ray tube (CRT) to the PDP and LCD, LCD always takes the lead. Even in the face of OLED, LCD still has a lot of advantages.
OLED's China Opportunities
Zhang Deqiang, vice president of Wei Xinnuo emphasized the rapid development of OLED technology, but also recognize that in a long term, LCD and OLED will co-exist.
