Yantai Wanhua Introduces New Grades of TPU at Chinaplas 2010

Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes Co., Ltd will introduce its innovative Wanthane TPU series products at CHINAPLAS 2010 No. W3 N41 , Shanghai, China from 19th to 22nd April, 2010. These innovative products will show the excellent R&D strengths of Yantai Wanhua and meet the requirements of global markets.

Wanthane halogen-free flame retardant TPU: In order to meet the requirements of low smoke emission and non-halogen in mechanical equipment manufacturing industry, electricity industry and construction industry, this halogen-free flame retardant grade with low smoke is created. It includes polyester-based and polyether-based TPU with hardness from Shore 80A to 95A, tensile strength up to 20MPa and elongation up to 500%. The product meets the technical requirement of UL-94 V0 standards with excellent wear resistance, hydrolysis resistance and processing features. It is suitable for both injection and extrusion applications.

Wanthane Holt-Melt Adhesive TPU: This new grade product can be used for film extrusion and extrusion coating process. It has good cohesiveness to various base materials with broad melt temperature scope. Hot pressure lamination and high frequency hot welding are applicable with good washing and dry cleaning resistance. It feels soft and is used in shoes, clothing and other fields widely.

Wanthane Super-Soft TPU: The hardness of this new grade product is Shore 65A, free of plasticizers. This new grade is used for injection processing with excellent wear resistance, slip resistance and flexibility. Most soft TPU may contain plasticizer restricted by Environment Protection Bureau, and the plasticizer may move to the article surface gradually to influence its surface appearance and adhesion strength.
