On Sept 7, 2009, the BI (Business Intelligence) Project of Yantai Wanhua held its kick-off meeting, which was attended by Liao Zengtai (Wanhua's president), Kou Guangwu (the first deputy president), Li Jie (CEO of Beijing Besure Technology Co., Ltd., Party B to this project), as well as other members of this project team. Top management of Yantai Wanhua attached great importance and positive recognition to the BI Project while advancing their expectations and higher demands at the meeting. Beijing Besure also extended their commitment on ensuring successful embarkment of BI Project in Wanhua. The kick-off meeting in the end saw the setup of Project Management Board (PMB), designation of project director and project manager, and establishment of six project teams based on the specific requirements of Wanhua.
BI (Business Intelligence) is a new technique adopting data warehouse, on-line analysis and data mining to process and analyze data, for purpose of providing backup for decision makers of companies. Wanhua's successful acquisition of SAP project in 2008 has laid a solid foundation for the construction of its information highway. The introduction of BI project this time will enable processing of basal data over SAP, to convert them into effective information so as to provide backup and evidence for management, and will gain a ready access to informatization for Wanhua as well.
