The final acceptance conference for the renovation of the Banquet Hall of the Great Hall of the People was held on July 17 at the Shanghai Hall therein, marking the successful completion and acceptance of the renovation project undertaken by MCC Central Research Institute of Building & Construction (CRIBC) and China Jingye Engineering Construction Contraction Corp. (CJYC). Another major project following the appraisal, design and construction jobs for the North Hall and the Golden Hall of the Great Hall of the People, the project earned praise from the Administration of the Great Hall of the People ( Administration ).
Kong Xiangyi, deputy director of the Administration, participated in the conference and had a talk with CRIBC president Li Peixun and others. After given a detailed account of the construction process of the project, the participants conducted a field inspection of the project.
CRIBC President Li extended thanks to the Administration for its trust, saying that it was a great honor for CJYC to participate in the renovation of the Great Hall of the People and would continue as always to contribute to Hall renovation.
Deputy director Kong spoke highly of CJYC for its service awareness, on-site management as well as safety, quality and progress control, and showed his willingness for more in-depth and broader cooperation with CRIBC and CJYC in renovation work in the future.
