On 14 August 2008, CRBC Ltd. signed the contract of Section G9 civil engineering of Jiangmen-Zhaoqing Expressway. The contract value amounts to RMB 528.9 million, with construction period of 30 months.
This highway is a significant component of the outer ring of Pearl River Delta Economic Zone. It starts from Jiangmen and ends at Zhaoqing, with approximately 108km long and dual three-lane. The total investment amounts to RMB8,735 million.
Section G9 is 8.66km long, which mainly composed of one interchange (1927.2m), four tunnels with single cavern (3241m), and one multi-arch tunnel (205m). The total excavation volume and total filling volume amounts to approximately 1,017,000m3 and 426,000m3, respectively.
