On 5 May 2009, CRBC International Co., Ltd. won the bid for Section 3 of Changsha-Xiangtan Expressway project. The bidding price is RMB260 million with construction period of 30 months.
The whole expressway is 74.1km long, while section 3 is 1275m long with the main bridge and approach bridge on the west side of Xiangjiang River Mega Bridge.
