CFHI: Leading of Heavy Equipment Industries and Triumph over International Market

The Eleventh Five-Year Plan is the five years that CFHI reached great-leap-forward development. In the past five years, CFHI became a public company, obtained the frog-leap development speed and achieved the breakthrough the ten billion Yuan in the value of merchandise production. From 2008 to 2009, CFHI took the leading position in the Central SOES for state-owned assets preservation and increase.

In the past five years, CFHI finished the construction of the world first class steel casting and forging base in Fularji, which is able to provide the 700 tons molten steel, 600 ton steel ingot, 500 ton steel casting and 400 ton steel forging; built the world largest petrochemical and 1000MW nuclear power equipment base in Dalian, which produces 5 sets of 1000MW primary equipment annually; and finished the construction of world largest complete set equipment base in Tianjin, which supplies the equipment for the automotive, metallurgical and mining industries.

In the metallurgical equipment filed, CFHI manufactured and supplied the 5500mm wide and heavy plate rolling mills to Anshan Steel and POSCO; in the nuclear power equipment filed, CFHI has developed the production technology of Second Generation Plus and Third Generation nuclear power large forgings and castings, especially in the Second Generation Plus filed, CFHI is the first company who passed the third party evaluation and obtained the certificate in China, and realized the industrialization.

Presently, over 90% of domestic forging components and over 80% of domestic nuclear RPV are supplied by CFHI which has become the solely one who has the capability to supply both large nuclear power forging and nuclear island complete set equipment in China; in the pertrochemical equipment field, CFHI is the first company which produced the 2044 ton coal liquefaction reactor and the largest 1600 ton hydrogenation cracking reactor in the world, as well as developed the first tube-shell heat exchanger which heat exchanging area over 10 thousand square meters to reach the adjustment and update of product structure; in the large forging and casting field, CFHI is the largest steel casting and forging manufacturer in China and has developed successfully the BURs for 5000-5500mm wide and heavy plate rolling mill, and is the No.

1 enterprise who has the strongest capacity to manufacture the forgings for 300 1000MW thermal power plants as well as has the capacity to produce the blades, runner crown, bands and the hydroturbine shafts. In the same time, CFHI also has the strong technical capacity and advantages in the metallurgical equipment spare parts, heavy duty mining equipment and heavy duty forging equipment etc.

CFHI has been awarded the national, provincial and municipal science technology progress prizes, such as the process technology and equipment integration and innovation project of Anshan steel 1780mm wide strip tandem cold rolling mill and the is 15000 ton open die hydraulic forging press are awarded the national science technology progress first prize respectively; the process technology and equipment self innovation and engineering application of 2150mm wide strip hot rolling mill is awarded the national science technology progress second prize.

The national enterprise technical center, the heavy duty technical equipment national engineering center, the national accredited testing center and the postal doctor working station, especially the newly founded energy equipment material research institute as the important platform for the overseas high level talents, focusing on the development strategy of enterprise and aiming at the global competition, will provide the solid human resource foundation for the development of enterprise.
