China Longyuan Held the Work Meeting on "Three Guarantees and Two Promotions"

On July 3, China Longyuan held the work meeting on"Three Guarantees and Two Promotions" smoothly at Suzhou. Mr. Xie Changjun, General Manager of the company attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. Mr. Tian Shicun, Secretary of Party Leadership Group, presided the meeting. Leaders of the company including Wang Liansheng, Huang Qun, Zhang Yuan, Li Hongmei, Wang Jianting, Fei Zhi and Jia Nansong also attended it. The meeting affirmed this year s objectives and tasks and it made arrangements of the key works for the second half of the year.

Mr. Xie said that 2010 was the first full year after the company s successful IPO and high expectations and requirements were placed on the company by each authority concerned. The central work of the company in this year is"Three Guarantees and Two Promotions", i.e., to guarantee the successful production, electricity output and profit; to promote the development of the company and its management.

Mr. Xie believes that the company now has a good environment for the development as well as some evident competitive advantages itself. However, it still faces the following challenges:

1. The approval of projects becomes increasingly difficult;

2. The problem of grid connection and congestion has gradually intensified;

3. The enthusiasm of the local governments on the wind power is evidently decreasing;

4. The competition of wind power development among enterprises is getting more and more fierce;

5. The difficulty of CDM registration is increasing steadily.

Sticking to the central work of "Three Guarantees and Two Promotions", the meeting puts forward ten specific measures to solve the current problems and difficulties. They are: to speed up project approvals through a multi-layered, multi-channeled and all directional policy; to give more attention to the cooperation with the power utilities in order to solve the problem of grid connection; to accelerate the progress of projects and improve project quality; to implement the system of all directional project inspection and to inspect the key projects; to raise the equipment availability to reduce the loss caused by the grid congestion; to actively promote project share acquisitions; to work hard on the reduction of the operational cost and financial expense; to fortify the leadership and to do a good job of organization and implementation; to intensify the system of stimulation and to improve the system of performance evaluation; to strengthen the information exchange and to carry out the system of weekly report.
Personnel including chief engineer, chief economist, general manager assistant and duty leaders of each department and the subsidiaries also attended the meeting.(Fang Tao)
