CAFS Wuxi Freshwater Fisheries Center Director visits Tongwei

January, 24, Xu Pao, Wuxi Freshwater Fisheries Center Director of Chinese academy of fishery sciences, and delegation paid a visit to Tongwei, and received warm welcome from board chairman of Tongwei Group, Liu Hanyuan, and general manager, Yan Hu.

At the meeting, Mr. Xu introduced Wuxi Freshwater Fisheries Center and its research achievements in genetic breeding of tilapia, streptococcus tilapia control, and stress techniques. He hoped to carry on further cooperation with Tongwei. Director Xie Jun made presentation on the project progress of lactic acid bacillus and fat source assessment with Tongwei.

Mr. Liu also agreed that Tongwei and the Center share the same idea, and same recognition towards one another. He said Tongwei is greatly interested in the projects of tilapia breeding and water quality improvement. Further communications and cooperation need to be done.
