In order to further improve the SWIFT system to be safer and more use-friendly, Bank of Beijing, after the full testing and preparation, has recently finished the software and hardware upgrading of its SWIFT System Version 6.0. As the Bank is opening its branches nationwide, its branches have applied for their own branch code under the Bank s main SWIFT code. The construction of SWIFT system will provide infrastructural technology support for foreign exchange business of the Bank and enable it to keep pace with peers on processing speed, accuracy and compliance.
