Bank of Beijing Signing Overall Strategic Agreement with Changping District Government

On May 9th 2007, Bank of Beijing signed an Overall Strategic Agreement & New Town Construction Contract with Changping District Government, according to which, the Bank will support the infrastructure construction and demolition of the east new town in Changping District with 1 billion mid-term loan.
The Bank has been, for a long period, dedicated in providing consistent support to the construction of suburban new towns and new rural areas as an important task, which is also one of the priorities of the 11th five-year planning of Municipality. Since the opening of Bank of Beijing s Changping Branch, it has extended accumulative 5 billion RMB loan fund to local key projects, playing an important and positive role in infrastructure construction, SME financing guarantee fund, and re-employment for laid-off workers there.
