It is learnt from the YCF Polyester Production Centre (the Centre) that the excellence rate of its A grade polyester slices reached 99.43% in the first quarter, 2% higher than last year. The rate of A grade polyester slices produced in the two equipment in March reached a record of 100%. "We are most satisfied with YCF's slices," praised many consumers who recently order the YCF goods.
With the technology advantage after the specialization reorganization in the second half of last year and the quality management advantage summed up according to requirements of new management mechanism, the Centre has further perfected the product quality management system, re-compiled and modified the documents about quality system.
After revising the product quality management system and issuing production equipment, they check the grass root implementation of the quality system and conduct strict examination, thus ensure production on the requirements of the quality system. In the past, technicians of production equipment were only responsible for the stability of production technology and cared little about the product quality.
After the reorganization of specialization, the Centre requires technicians to pay attention to both technology and quality. At present, technicians pay attention to reducing the technology adjustment' impact on product quality, adopting solutions to the hidden troubles, and creating favorable conditions for the stability and improvement of product quality.
The Centre also accumulates technology forces to tackle key problems relevant to product quality and ensures that the slices can continuously meet customers' demands. At the end of last year, according to needs of market and customers, YCF organized talents to initiate production of super bright polyester chips in production equipment.
The production had high demand on the system, and no impunity could be allowed in the system. Otherwise, the product quality would be affected. Therefore, the Centre organized staff to vigorously clean the equipment. During the production process, they also arranged technicians to tackle major problems in the production.
Based on analysis of the system, they carefully checked and eliminated hidden troubles for quality, strengthened control over production technology, and reduced fluctuation of technology. In order to meet customers' needs, they, together with the marketing personnel, often visited customers and helped them solve problems in production, which won high praise from customers.
YCF made great efforts to successfully produce in April more than 3,800 tons super bright chips in batches. Upon inspection, the super bright chips were high in the rate of full rolls, low in decollation and even in dying. Their quality reached the domestic advanced level.
