Comprehensive Excellence Rate of Polyester Centre Reaches Higher than 99%

The Polyester Centre unceasingly improves quality and achieves great accomplishments. As of the end of August, the accumulative comprehensive excellence rate of the Polyester Centre has reached 99.66%. The excellence rates of all products exceed YCF's quality target. With increasing popularity of traditional semi-bright and bright products, new products like full-dull, industrial yarn and film grade chips are popular with new and old customers.

The Polyester Centre sets up the concept of "offering customers all-round services", establishes communication network to connect with internal customers, makes full use of services advantages of internal customers, commits itself to improving products' quality and achieve "win-win" with its customers.

The Polyester Centre gives full play to its advantages after specialized restructure, emphasizes process technology management and makes full use of advantages in chemical automation control and on-line instrument control. The Centre tries its best to keep a high-level quality and keeps ahead in polyester field.

For example, viscosity of 3Kg is taken as the parameter of equipment in unit 7, 8 and 9 semi-dull production lines. The Centre will continue to produce the best super bright chips in China and set good brand image for YCF. The Centre commits itself to production development and scientific and technological innovation.

Meanwhile, it emphasizes quality improvement. In view of problems in quality or weak processes, the Centre worked out quality improvement projects in accordance with YCF level, Polyester Centre level and equipment levels at the beginning of 2007. As of August, the completion rate had reached 75%, and complaints from customers had a year-on-year decrease of 23.
