YCF Holds 8th Session of 3rd Employee Representative Meeting

On the morning of August 8, YCF held the 8th session of the 3rd Employee Representative Meeting in the west conference hall on 2/F and discussed and approved the "YCF's Decision of Executing Safety Production Ban of Sinopec Group and Sinopec" (the Decision). Party Committee Secretary also Board Chairman Qian Hengge made important speeches, requesting to carefully execute the safety production ban.

In addition, production and management should be paid special attention to accelerate the promotion of reform adjustment and effective development and continually maintain and develop YCF's harmonious and upward conditions. Attending the meeting were party-government leaders and employee representatives at home, including Shen Xijun, Zhang Zhongan, Li Jianxin and Li Jianping, together with some medium-level management and leaders of restructured units.

YCF leader Zhang Zhongan presided over the meeting.

In the meeting, employees passed the Decision by hand voting. The safety production ban, as one important piece of regulation of YCF, will be formally executed since August 20 this year.

On behalf of YCF's party-government management, Qian put forward four opinions concerning the careful implementation of the ban and other relevant work. Firstly, to earnestly execute the safety production ban of Sinopec; secondly, to earnestly implement the spirit in Sinopec's semi-annual videophone working conference, and to spare no efforts in the production and management and promotion of reform adjustment with enhanced confidence and well-defined objectives, with the aim of ensuring the realization of all objectives of the whole year; thirdly, to further deepen the performance assessment and post competition; fourthly, to further unify ideas and understandings and arduously maintain and develop YCF's harmonious and upward conditions.

We should have a sober understanding of the situation YCF faces, fully appreciate the achievements of the reform and cherish the favorable environment attained with much efforts, to clearly understand the phase YCF is in and further solidify our confidence and determination in promoting the reform adjustment.

Besides, we should correctly understand the relationship between reform, development and stability and further maintain and develop the harmonious and upward conditions.
