China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) held the semi-annual videophone working conference in Beijing on the morning of July 27. YCF's leaders, including Qian Hengge, Xiao Weizhen, Zhang Zhongan and Li Jianxin, together with party-government officials of all secondary units and divisions leaders, attentively listened to the important talks of General Manager Su Shulin and the working reports on production and management, investment and reform and development by President Wang Tianpu and Deputy General Manager Li Chunguang at YCF's branch meeting venue.
After the meeting, YCF immediately made arrangements for the communication and implementation of the meeting's spirits. In close combination with YCF's actual conditions, all units are requested to further study and implement the spirits and practically fulfill the work of production and management and reform adjustment in the second half of the year with unified ideology and reinforced confidence, so as to ensure "four stabilities -- political, economic and social stability and stability of public feeling" and realize the annual benefit target.
The four requirements of YCF are as follows: firstly, to deepen the study and apprehension of the meeting spirits to unify different thoughts and understanding under the requirements of the Leading Party Members' Group of Sinopec; secondly, to practically fulfill the production and management in the second half of the year to ensure the realization of the benefit target of the whole year; thirdly, to be unswerving in the promotion of reform adjustment, the indispensable road for YCF to walk out of the current plights and strengthen its competitiveness.
All units should carefully study and apprehend Su's significant statements concerning "Two Must-nots" (The reform must neither cease nor recede.) and "Three Unswervings" (Be unswerving in sticking to the orientation of deepening reform, the promotion of the reform and the attitude of seeking truth from facts.
), to further unify the understandings of YCF's reform adjustment and solidify the confidence in and determination towards the adjustment. The promotion of reform adjustment will be unswervingly continued in accordance with the scheduled working plans of YCF; fourthly, to guarantee YCF's safety and stability with proactive measures.
