YCF Organizes Accident-free 100 Days Contest

In order to further implement the spirit of the videophone working meeting of Sinopec's safety and environmental protection in the 4th quarter, YCF, in accordance with the requirements in Sinopec's "Notice of Carrying out the 'Accident-free 100 Days' Contest", has decided to launch the contest themed "executing the bans, opposing to three kinds of violation, taking individual responsibility for the rectification and involving the whole staff in guaranteeing safety", so as to do well in the work of this winter and next spring, reduce the occurrence of various accidents, and ensure the complete fulfillment of various production and operation tasks.

The contest, lasting from October 16, 2007 to February 21, 2008, consists of three phases including publicity and mobilization, contest development as well as summarization and enhancement. During the contest, YCF requests all units to closely follow the theme to develop diversified and in-depth publicity and education.

The units are also supposed to strictly execute the "Safety Production Ban", to promote the implementation of various regulations and systems and elevate the executing capabilities. They are also required to do well in the harnessing of potential dangers and guarantee the fulfillment of this work in this year as well as its organization and planning in the next year.

Besides, unremitting efforts should be made in the management of the winter's safe production and the implementation of such precautionary measures as regards preventions of cold, freeze, slipping, fire, explosion and small animals. All units also should strengthen the "Three Basics" management and continually organize the development of "Five-Ones" activities among grassroots groups and organizations.
