To strengthen the publicity of traditional festivals and to promote traditional Chinese culture, recording of the program "Our Festival Qingming--Ballad in China", organized by Central Propaganda Department, the Central Civilization Office, the Ministry of Culture, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and CCTV, was completed in Beijing recently. 38 NUC students from the Department of Music participated in the recording during March 25-29. With over one and half months hard training and preparation, NUC students gave a wonderful performance and were highly appraised by CCTV. In addition, they reached an agreement with CCTV on future practical performances.
The performance plays an active role in bettering the reputation of NUC.
The program will be shown at CCTV Channel I and Channel X at 8:00pm on April 4.
