lMarch 23-GDUFS held its first meeting for board of directors of the Education Development Foundation.It was held in the 3rd meeting room on north campus. GDUFS CPC Secretary Xu Zhenhua, President Sui Guangjun were appointed President and Vice-President of the foundation respectively.
lMarch 23-GDUFS Vice-President Gu Yeli, the only representative of CPPCC in GDUFS, returned from Beijing and lectured on the highlights of this year sessions in the reporting hall of south campus. The emphasis this year was placed on the price of real estate, employment, and the reform of education.
lMarch 24-The Asian Games Volunteers Meeting was held in the AdministrativeBuilding on north campus. It made some adjustments to recent volunteer recruitment levels and decided that the next semester teaching weeks will be shortened from 18 to 16 weeks.
lMarch 25- Dr.Saleh ALSagri, the cultural envoy from Saudi Arabian Embassy to China, paid a visit to GDUFS. GDUFS President Sui Guangjun warmly welcome him in the guest reception hall on north campus. The two sides discussed possible cooperation between GDUFS and universities in Saudi Arabia.
