March 29 - The launching ceremony of "Strive to be the Messenger, Celebrate the Asian Games - Guangdong Welcomes you" activity was held in the academic lecture hall, teaching building six, North Campus. The activity increased students awareness of the Asian Games, and made feel excited about participating.
March 31 - Malaysian Consul General in Guangzhou Roslan Abdul Rahman, visited GDUFS. GDUFS Vice Party Secretary warmly welcomed the visiting delegation in the welcome hall, AdministrationBuilding, North Campus. Both sides exchanged ideas on issues like communication, studying abroad, and promoting bilateral cooperation.
April 1 - GDUFS Nansha outsourcing training base listing ceremony was held in Guangzhou Nansha Science and TechnologyInnovationCenter. Guangzhou Vice Mayor and Nansha Development Zone Director, Chen Mingde, attended the listing ceremony.
April 2 - GDUFS positions of Party Secretary and President were shifted respectively to former President Sui Guangjun and Former Vice President Zhong Weihe. This was announced in the inauguration announcement assembly hosted by the former Party Secretary Xu Zhenhua in the Octagon Conference Room, South Campus.
