May 10 - Vice President of George Fox University, Dr. Patrick Allen and his colleagues visited GDUFS this morning. GDUFS President Zhong Weihe, Vice President Fang Fanquan and Dong Xiaoling met them at the Yingbin Hall in the Administrative Building on north campus. During the meeting, the two sides signed a cooperative agreement for undergraduates.
May 11 - The Education Department Manager from the Spanish Consulate to China, Juan Carlos Lizama Velasco and his colleagues visited GDUFS this morning. GDUFS Vice President Fang Fanquan met them at the Yingbin Hall on north campus. The two sides held talks on the teaching of Spanish language, and about establishing a resource center for Spanish learning.
May 11 - Guangdong Research Institute of International Strategy has set its first twelve projects and decided to invite biddings from GDUFS and the public. Each project is expected to need funding of up to 50,000 RMB.
May 13 - The Lecture for cultivating qualified cadres was held in the multi-functional lecture hall on north campus. President of Sun Yat-Sen University, Mr. Huang Daren was invited to deliver a report entitled ome Thoughts on University Management". GDUFS President Zhong Weihe, CPC secretary Sui Guangjun, former CPC secretary Xu Zhenhua and other leaders attended the lecture.
May 13 - A hundred university students from the journalists training camp of Asian Games arrived at the OCOG to learn about the construction of Asian Games venues. Some interviews were also carried out.
