On November 3rd, school leaders and students attended a welcome home ceremony for three athlete students who had done very well at the last sporting event. President Sui Guangjun, Vice President Chen Zirui, and Zhong Weihe all expressed their joy at having the athletes back home.

GDUFS Swimming Team enjoyed huge success in the recent GD University Students Swimming Tournament by grabbing No.1 in Group A and No.8 in Group B. According to Lin Shaona, Head the P.E Department, the result is satisfactory? She also emphasized the importance of support and concern from school leaders.

Again, the TNT Troupe from Britain presented a marvelous performance at GDUFS on Nov. 3rd. This time, by bringing Romeo and Juliet to the stage, members of the troupe revealed their skills once more to an enamored audience. This was the fifth time the TNT Troupe performed at GDUFS.

Over 300 teachers and students attended the Soldier Recruiting Ceremony on Nov. 1st. Many leaders from GZ government and the military department attended the ceremony and delivered inspiring speeches. After the ceremony, many students signed their names to express their desire to serve the country.

20 GDUFS students were provided with Zhongmin Financial Aid Packages at Sun Yat-Sen University. The assisted students expressed their gratitude and promised to return the favor to society. By founding the Zhongmin Financial Aid, Mr. Yang Guoqiang has been able to help many students go to university when finances have been the deterring factor.
