March 13 - On March 10th officials from the Education Examination School in Jejiang province visited GDUFS, and held a meeting on the increase of the students' enrollment in Jejing province.
On March 11th officials from the Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Bureau visited GDUFS and held a thorough discussion about the recruitment of volunteers in the 26th Shenzhen World University Games. It is projected that about 350 students with minor language majors will soon be enrolled after interviews.
On March 11th an 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit Japan's northeastern Honshu Island at 2:46 pm (local time). The 30 students and one teacher from GDUFS who are studying in Japan are confirmed to be safe.
