June - 10 The first GDUFS Meeting on International Teacher Affairs was held in the MBA Center, North Campus. Zhi Peiyu, Chief of Corperate Deppartment, Guangdong Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs and Jiao Fangtai, Director of the International Office attended the meeting. Representatives from different faculties delivered reports on employment and the working situations of foreign teachers. How to improve the system of management of foreign teacher affairs was also discussed at the meeting.
June - 10 The Training Workshop of GDUFS 2010 Recruitment Consultation Open Day was held on North Campus. GDUFS Vice President Liu Jianda hosted the meeting. He emphasized that the Open Day was a great opportunity for publicity, which was of significant importance to recruiting excellent students.
June - 10 Professional Ranks and Titles of Guangdong Educational System Seminar was held in Dongguan, organized by the Education Department of Guangdong Province. Representatives of Human Resouces Department from different Universities attended the seminar. Xie Wenxing, Vice Chief of GDUFS Human Resources Division, introduced working experience and practice within this area, which was enthusiastically recieved.
June 7-11 The first Business School Teaching Seminar of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was held in Peking University. Professor Wu Yiming, Vice Director of GDUFS MBA Education Center attended the seminar. CSR theoretical studies and practice were discussed during the one-week seminar.
