Professor Sun Haiming Appointed as the President of SIFT

Professor Sun Haiming was appointed as the President of SIFT in the meeting held on Gubei Campus, September 16th, 2009.

President Sun Haiming graduated and obtained his Bachelor s Degree from the then Department of Industrial Economics of Renmin University of China in 1983, and Master s Degree from the then Department of Industrial Economics of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in January, 1986. Becoming Associate Professor in 1988 and Professor in 1993, he enjoys the State Council Special Allowance.

From 1992 to present, he has been the director, standing director and standing vice director-geneneral of the Association of Industrial Economic Management. From 1995 to present, he has been appointed, for consecutive terms, as member of the Decision-Making Consultant Expert Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Government.

At present, he is the vice president of Shanghai Economic Association.
