Two Famous Australian Writers visited SIFT Australian Studies Center

On March, 4th, two famous Australian writers Thomas Keneally and Brian Castro visited SIFT in the company of Dene Yeaman, Deputy Consul General of the Australian Consulate-General in Shanghai. They gave a lecture to the teachers and postgraduates of SIFT Languages School and communicated with them. After that, they visited the Australian Studies Center of SIFT and exchanged opinions with its members.

Keneally is a world-famous writer and historian. His novel Schindler's List has won a wide popularity across the world. Castro is a Chinese-Australian writer and he is now the chair of Creativity Writing of Adelaide University. The Australian Studies Center of SIFT has embodied the works of the two famous writers into the program of The Translation Collection of Contemporary Australian Novels.
