Vice President Ye Xingguo met with Doctor Ziegler from Universite de Lausanne

On November 22nd, SIFT Vice President Ye Xingguo met with Doctor Andreas R. Ziegler from Universite de Lausanne on Songjiang Campus, and had a talk with him in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.

Vice President Ye gave a brief introduction on SIFT and SIFT s 50th anniversary. He elaborated on the development of scientific research, WTO Chairs Program, international cooperation in scientific research and internationalization of running SIFT. Doctor Ziegler congratulated SIFT on its achievements and praised SIFT students language skills and professionalism. He expressed his willingness to make efforts to further promote the cooperation with SIFT on the LLM Project led by him.

During his visit, Doctor Ziegler gave an academic lecture on arbitrator countries: the mutual influence between prejudication and negotiation in international investment to postgraduates from WTO Institute of Education and Law School and senior undergraduates. After the lecture, Doctor Ziegler had a discussion with young teachers from WTO Institute and exchanged ideas with them on specific research fields.
