SIFT and Universit Paris X signed Cooperation Agreement

On the afternoon of Sep 25th, Sun Haiming, president of SIFT, met with Universit Paris X( Nanterre )president Ma Defang who came to attend the first Shanghai-Paris High Economics, Management & Culture (SPHEMC) Forum. The two sides had a friendly and sincere talk and came to consensus in exchange of students, teachers, books and other sources. They also expressed the wish to cooperate in distance education, degree education and other related aspects.

During the meeting, president Sun Haiming offered an introduction about SIFT including general overview, orientation, educational philosophy and the development of subject construction. He hoped that both sides could push forward the substantive cooperation between the two universities. Ma Defang, president of Universit Paris X spoke highly of the jointly-held Shanghai-Paris High Economics, Management & Culture (SPHEMC) Forum and would like to take this opportunity to expand the bilateral cooperation.

After the meeting, a framework agreement on cooperation between the two universities was signed.

Universit Paris X is one of the most famous universities in France. Its economics and management related majors feature many experienced teachers and abundant research achievements. The university boasts a Nobel Prize winner.
