Napier University Edinburgh visited SIFT

On May 19th, a delegation headed by Professor Falconer Stewart, dean of School of Accounting, Finance and Statistic in Napier University Edinburgh, Mr. James Brown and Mr. Cai Jia, representative of Napier university in Beijing paid a visit to SIFT. Li Wanli, dean of the Accounting School of SIFT welcomed the delegation on Songjiang Campus.

Professor Falconer Stewart briefly introduced the life of SIFT exchange students in Napier University and fully recognized their performance and achievement. Dean Li Wanli and Dean Falconer Steward exchanged their opinions on the teaching cooperation program and on the Scientific Research cooperation between young faculties in SIFT and the Chinese research center in Napier University Edinburgh.

They also talked about plans of further cooperation.

In the afternoon, Dean Falconer Stewart and Mr. James Brown interviewed nine SIFT students applying for the 3+1 and 4+1 programs respectively and they were enrolled into Napier after the interview. Mr. Caijia introduced the procedures of applying for Napier University Edinburgh.

Napier University Edinburgh is located in Edinburgh, capital of Scotland. It is one of the best newly-built universities in Britain. The Accounting School of SIFT started the cooperation program with Napier in 2008 and has launched 3+1 and 4+1 programs. Several young teachers from SIFT have been sent to study and do research in Napier.
