College of Literature Launches Olympic Vanguard Activities

On April 18, 2007, North Campus, College of Literature successfully held a publicity and opening ceremony for Olympic Vanguard activities, which are cosponsored by Youth League Committee, Student Association and graduate student association of College of Literature. These activities will be held both inside and outside the CNU and there is a slogan Young College of Literature, Olympic Vanguard, high-flying dream, and global perspective . More than 30 activities and contests will be held. Inside the CNU, activities have a theme Olympic Vanguard Fixes Eyes on Campus , and outside the CNU, the theme will be Olympic Vanguard Contributes to Society . They are intended to combine knowledge and theory, wishes and practice, and to display the mien of aspiring students.
At ceremony site, there are bulletins, music, broadcast, posters, questionnaires, bookmarks and name signing, etc. Liu Haitao and Sun Jian, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of CNU and deputy head of Students Affairs Division respectively, went to watch and instruct the activity, and accepted students tape interview. Meanwhile, the activity also attracted teachers of other colleges and departments and foreign students of College of International Education to sign their names and accept interviews.
