Write: Mariel [2011-05-20]
A delegation from the State University of New York at Oswego arrived at CNU on January 18, 2007. Vice President Walter Opello came with the dean of business and the head of the School of Education. Liu Xiaotian, dean of the College of International Education and Han Mei, vice dean, together with Yang Chonglin, head of the economics and trade department in the College of Politics and Law, and professor Ding Jinhong, from School of Education Science, met the delegation and held meetings and talks with them.
CNU has had a relationship with SUNY Oswego since the beginning of the 1980s. Over the last 23 years, the two universities have worked together extremely well. At this meeting both sides agreed to actively increase the areas in which the two universities work together, and talked about student exchanges and faculty links. After more talks, the schools worked out the terms for signing an extension to their agreement, along with addenda and other relevant issues. The talks were held in an atmosphere of great friendliness and warmth throughout.
