THz Spectrum and Imaging Lab Becomes City s Key Lab

Recently, Beijing Education Committee and Beijing Science and Technology Committee jointly issued a document to add the THz Spectrum and Imaging Lab of CNU to the list of Key University Labs in Beijing .
Proposed by academician Yang Guo-zhen, Department of Physics began the establishment of THz Spectrum and Imaging Lab in 2001. In the past five years, with efforts from both faculty and students, considerable progress and results have been achieved. We have founded several research groups headed by a team of young professors and doctors and inaugurated studies conforming to international trends. We have undertaken a number of national projects, such as the state 973 plan, 863 plan and NSF projects, and realized outstanding achievements. We enjoy advanced lab infrastructure and hardware facilities and so far have published 261 academic papers, covering topics such as PRL and PRB.
Congratulations to THz Spectrum and Imaging Lab and we sincerely wish the Lab could realize symbolic results and make greater contribution to the growth of CNU.
