President of Tajik Russian Slavic University Visits Our University

On December 9, Mahmud Sa marov, president of Tajik Russian Slavic University, and his colleagues visited our university. Vice president Zhou Jianshe, dean of International Education College Liu Xiaotian , and other personnel welcomed the visitors and held friendly talks.

The two parties negotiated and signed a cooperation memorandum, the particulars of which are that our university will train students of Chinese language for Tajik Russian Slavic University in the form of 2+2, while our students of Russian Department of College of Foreign Languages will study in Tajik Russian Slavic University with free of charge, as well as communication of faculties, etc.

At present, students in Russia and members of the Commonwealth of Independent Sates show strong interest in learning Chinese. Our university will take advantage of our supremacy in teaching of Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL) to contribute to Chinese language publicity around the world. Meantime, we can create more opportunities for students of Russian Department of our university and students for Russian further studies to communicate with foreign teachers and students.
