Cornerstone laying ceremony of the 1st affiliated hospital teaching building
The cornerstone laying ceremony of the 1st affiliated hospital teaching building was held in February 28. the principals made present on the ceremony included Mr. Zhaoyang, deputy director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Mr. Lei Yulan, lieutenant governor of Guangdong Province, etc. as well as president and vice presidents of our university.
Mr. Hu also said the university would give support to the 1st affiliated hospital as ever to create a good environment for the hospital and would try our best to build it into a top notch hospital in Guangdong Province.
Mr. Zhao Yang delivered a speech after Mr. Hu. He said that the 1st affiliated hospital of Jinan University was the only hopital under the management of the Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs of the State Council that integrates medical treatment, teaching, research etc. During the past 30 years since its founding, it has become a comprehensive hospital that is influential in Guangzhou. The establishment of the new teaching building, added Mr. Zhao Yang, would give more impetus to the development of the hospital.
